We seek and actively connect ideas, people and a capital for the exponential growth of a company. Vision Ventures is a venture capital investor. We support ideas or companies at the beginning of their journey. The size of our investment is usually from EUR 100 to 800 thousand. We are not just a passive investor, we also have experience, skills and energy to actively help our companies achieve mutual success.

Tomáš is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of 2010 in Slovakia. He is also a serial entrepreneur with many successful projects. His strength is orientation and experience in many different areas and business sectors. As a result, he has a synthetic view of things and their generalisation, which helps identify new business opportunities. During his career, he has gained hands-on experience in almost all areas of company management. Recently, he has been working on technology and digital innovation. Tomáš is also active in the startup community in Slovakia, both as a mentor and investor but also as an active participant in various startup competitions. He completed several study stays abroad, such as Harvard Business School, which gave him a strong global view of business and valuable networking, or study stays in investment and corporate finance at London Business School. He is a member of the Harvard Business Alumni Club.

Daniel

Giebel

Daniel Giebel is CEO of T-System Slovakia, a company in Košice that has more than 4,000 employees. T-system Slovakia supplies a wide range of services in IT, telecommunications and relevant business processes and projects of global T-system customers worldwide. Daniel has held T-system management positions in London and Frankfurt for the past 16 years. Daniel also has direct experience in Roland Berger's M&A consulting. He was also in an executive position in running a startup. Daniel is highly analytical and has a human approach.

Prof. Gabriel

Semanišin, PhD.

Vice-Rector for Informatization and Quality Management in the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. Besides teaching, Gabriel is engaged in research in the field of algorithmic graph theory and has experience in the development and implementation of several information systems. He is an author or a co-author of more than 50 original scientific works with 180+ registered responses in citation databases. He has been invited to lecture at five foreign conferences, he also has given 50 other presentations at international conferences and 15+ invited presentations at university seminars and international workshops. He has experience in coordinating and solving projects from various grant schemes. Gabriel's ambition is a functional combination of theory and practice, education, research and business.

RNDr. Stanislav

Hrivňak, PhD.

He graduated from the Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice in the field of Mathematical Physics and completed his doctoral studies there as a computer biophysicist. He focused on the development of algorithms for image reconstruction in biomedical micro-CT imaging. Three semesters of his PhD. he studied abroad, at universities and scientific institutions in Stockholm (Sweden), Hamburg and Göttingen (Germany). He is a primary author of three peer-reviewed scientific publications in world journals. Since 2017, he has been actively involved in Machine Learning and works as a Machine Learning Engineer at GlobalLogic. He is fascinated by the enormous opportunities for life quality improvement that these techniques offer today. His dream is to see more job opportunities in Slovakia in highly creative industries. Stanislav has also been a speaker at several international conferences, and is the winner of the Falling Walls Lab Slovakia 2017 young innovators competition and a member of the Slovak ranking Forbes 30 under 30 in 2019. Stanislav's contribution would consist of consultations on the feasibility and complexity of implementing Machine Learning solutions as well as of his domain knowledge in the field of computer biophysics.
